Terms of Clinical Care & Admission

These Terms of Clinical Care outline the framework governing inpatient admissions, specialist consultations, emergency triage, and digital health services at Aurelia Health.

1. Consultations & Medical Responsibility

Consultations scheduled online or in person establish a doctor-patient relationship governed under Swiss healthcare law. Our physicians provide diagnosis and treatment recommendations tailored to individual clinical profiles based on validated diagnostic metrics.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that schedules change. To respect clinical preparation and surgical theatre availability, we request at least 24 hours notice for standard outpatient consultations. Rescheduling can be executed seamlessly via your patient portal or by contacting the concierge desk.

3. Insurance & Financial Settlement

Aurelia Health collaborates with leading Swiss (LAMal / LCA) and international private health insurers. While we provide direct claims settlement assistance, patients remain responsible for non-covered elective amenities or deductible copayments defined by their policy.

4. Emergency Care & Immediate Triage

For life-threatening medical emergencies, acute trauma, or sudden cardiovascular distress, our Emergency Department provides round-the-clock immediate triage without prior financial pre-clearance requirements.
